Christian Guemy (C215), known by his street artist moniker C215, has quickly become one of the premier graffiti and street artists worldwide since debuting his vibrant stencils across cities worldwide in 2006. Since his introduction in 2006, C215's work draws its inspiration from economic and historical research as well as Caravaggio's classical art as it fits beautifully into urban settings. C215's breakthrough came after experiencing emotional loss which inspired him to draw an emotional and moving stencil featuring both his ex-wife Nina as well as himself drawing an emotionally moving stencil depicting him two of Nina's faces made famous into striking portraits by C215 himself!

C215's large-scale works and vibrant hues beautifully captures his subjects' emotions by infusing public places with poetry. His artwork can be found all across Paris as wall hangings or museum displays worldwide and features his distinct cube design - also used as social activism by this social activist artist! His latest exhibition entitled SLAVA UKRAINI in 2023 showcased works created in his native Ukraine which highlighted dire conditions created due to Russian invasion. C215 draws inspiration from pioneers of urban art such as Ernest Pignon who advocate that street art should resonates with its surroundings by providing authentic experiences and taking up human and social issues head on head on!
