Description
Sophie Dumont, the contemporary artist with diverse talents, captivates the viewer with her striking black paintings. This series of artworks invites us to delve into the depths of emotional darkness, where complex feelings and abstract thoughts find expression.
Abstraction of black books with a multitude of layers all in oil. The fabric books are glued and painted providing a variation of the black tone and an interesting material Libraries are a key subject for the artist who plays with lights and dark tones. The edges of the painting are painted.
