Description
American-style frame in natural or black wood, your choice.
In this contemporary work, Sophie Dumont explores an interior landscape reduced to its essence, constructed through superimpositions of matter, erasures, and successive traces. Between abstraction and the memory of the territory, the composition evokes a silent horizon traversed by time.
The tones of off-white, bluish-grey, ochre, and deep red create a calm, mineral atmosphere, while the fragmented horizontal lines suggest geological strata, shorelines, or lands erased by erosion.
Created using oil and collage on canvas, this painting reveals Sophie Dumont’s characteristic work around matter, memory and the silent depth of abstract landscapes.
Original artwork signed on the front. Certificate of authenticity included. International delivery available.
