Description
Exclusive to Belart Gallery.
This vibrant oil painting radiates primordial energy. Bold gestural strokes define a world where figurative elements merge with raw abstraction. Bright reds and deep blues clash and harmonize in a rhythmic dance. The composition suggests a spiritual presence. Figures appear as half-man, half-animal spirits. These daimons act as intermediaries between the earth and the divine. The application of color is immediate and dazzling. Layers of stains and dilutions create a dizzying swirl. This technique echoes the freedom of action painting while remaining rooted in Moroccan soil. The artist avoids traditional academic codes. He instead embraces a singular path inspired by ancestral representations. The artwork captures a moment of trance. It is a visual manifestation of a personal cosmogony. Every line pulses with a telluric force. The contrast between dark boundaries and luminous centers creates a sense of depth and mystery. A tension exists between the recognizable form and the abstract void. This balance reflects a deep connection to the land and the subconscious. The piece concludes with a powerful interplay of saturated pigments and spontaneous drips.
