The painting’s dimensions, 120 x 160 cm (47.24 x 62.99 inches), make it a dominant and impactful work, perfect for making a bold statement in any large space.

Executed in acrylic on canvas, the artist has employed thick, textured strokes to create a complex composition of intersecting lines and blocks of color. The palette is a sophisticated mix of greys, blues, and muted earth tones, punctuated by vibrant yellows and whites, which bring a striking contrast to the overall composition. This interplay of dark and light elements evokes an urban landscape, full of energy and movement, yet layered with a sense of mystery and depth.

The abstract nature of the piece allows for multiple interpretations, inviting viewers to engage with the artwork on a personal level. The linear structures and bold color choices suggest both architectural forms and the fluidity of light and shadow in a bustling cityscape. The use of acrylic adds to the vibrancy and texture of the painting, making it a dynamic visual experience.

“Grey Shadows” is a powerful example of modern abstract art, offering a rich visual experience that captures the essence of urban life in a bold and expressive manner.
