Description
A composition structured in three horizontal registers. The artist uses the knife here to build an architecture of matter. The oil paint accumulates in thick layers. These strata evoke slices of books lined up on shelves. The relief creates a play of shadows and light on the canvas.
The palette favors neutral and earthy tones. Touches of muted blue, deep red, and olive green punctuate the whole. These colored accents guide the eye through this geometric alignment. The repetition of vertical forms establishes a calm and ordered rhythm.
The knife work brings a sculptural dimension. Each area becomes a deposit of memory, a tangible trace of the artistic gesture. Depending on the destination and the size of the work, we use delivery companies such as DHL or UPS, or specialist art delivery companies.
No problem! You have 14 days after delivery of the artwork to notify us. You will be refunded once the artwork is returned to the gallery. In the case of a return after cancellation, you are responsible for packaging the artwork. BelArt Gallery does not cover return shipping costs.
Some products (limited edition, customized artworks etc) are excluded from the return policy.
