Beschrijving
Casette con ulivi (Little Houses with Olive Trees) is a landscape painted in oil on canvas in 1995. A row of olive trees with dark, twisting trunks stands in the foreground, in front of terraced fields, a small white house and hills rising towards a pale sky. Antonino Puliafico applies the paint thickly, in short, energetic strokes of green, blue, ochre and violet, which give the countryside a vibrant texture and a constant movement.
