Beschrijving
In Force et stature, bold black lines loop and spiral over a pale ground lit by patches of orange, pink, yellow and blue. Dotted lines, drips and splashes join the brushed colour, creating a lively web of marks that rises through the whole height of the canvas. The warm tones bring energy, while the black line work gives the composition its structure and its upward movement. This vertical acrylic on canvas is a spontaneous, gestural abstraction, full of contrast between light and dark, softness and force.
