Beschrijving
Exclusive to Belart Gallery.
Raw energy dominates the canvas. Violent strokes collide in a dizzying swirl of pink, green, and black. The composition vibrates with a primordial force. This artwork emerges from the singular artistic community of Essaouira. It defies conventional labels of naive or outsider art. The approach is deeply gestural. Oil paint is applied with an immediacy that recalls the rhythmic intensity of action painting. Layers of stains and dilutions create a complex depth. These overlays suggest a trance-like state. The artist translates a telluric connection to the Moroccan soil into a modern abstract language. Within the chaos, hints of animal and vegetal forms linger. They are ghosts of a peasant universe absorbed into a cosmic dance. The movement is Dionysian. It captures a sense of spiritual liberation and ancestral memory. Every line pulses with a raw, instinctive power. The result is a sophisticated tension between tradition and abstraction. High contrast and bold pigments anchor the piece in a state of perpetual motion. The visual narrative concludes in a dense intersection of sweeping arcs and sharp intersections.
