Petra Schott

Petra Schott is an abstract painter residing in Frankfurt who uses her art to explore daily female life through dreams, thoughts and the fundamental aspects of human existence.

After passing her second law examination successfully, Schott earned the Fine Arts Degree at Kassel Art Academy, Germany. Additionally to her work as both judge and lawyer as well as painter, she developed her profession further after leaving legal services altogether in 2014. Since 2014 her artwork has gained global appreciation from collectors, critics, galleries as well as other collectors/critics/galleries alike.

Schott's emotionally engaging art draws viewers into an experience of contemplation and imagination, drawing their focus towards contemplation of human relations as well as intangible nature aspects such as emotions. Her paintings explore these human concerns in terms of sensitivities such as fragility and spirituality.
