Description
Frame of your choice: natural or black wood – Original work signed – Certificate of authenticity – Ready to be hung Sophie Dumont offers a bright and rhythmic vision of a stylized agricultural landscape. The composition is built by layers of color, with a gray and tormented sky in contrast with fields with vibrant tones: bright yellows, earthy reds, muted greens, chalky whites. Knife painting, characteristic of the artist’s work, offers a rich and expressive material. The ensemble evokes the movement of the wind, the undulations of the tilled lands, but also a certain visual musicality.Between figuration and abstraction, this work captures the sensitive memory of the Norman or Mediterranean landscape, in a poetic and solar interpretation.
