Description
The words have disappeared just like the color to leave only the essential. A blackboard to write your own story. A few subtle appearances of color are scattered here and there, inviting the viewer to “scrutinize” the painting, to discover it and rediscover it constantly. The subject here, the books, is refined as much as possible to keep only a graphic construction in monochrome where the material and the nuances will let guess the books. Abstraction of black books in oil on canvas in a library.
Indirect lighting will highlight the relief of the material. Work on books sometimes with gray or brown accentuating the effect of volume. This canvas would be ideal in a refined interior and on a white wall. Libraries series. The edges of the painting are painted which allows you not to put a frame. Akoun certified rating.
