Description
This abstract artwork explores the tension between structure and atmosphere through a grid of layered panels. Shades of teal, turquoise, deep blue, charcoal, and soft white create a composition that feels both architectural and organic. The geometric divisions suggest windows, horizons, or fragments of a landscape, while textured horizontal lines drift across the surface like traces of water, clouds, or distant memories.
Built up through multiple layers of acrylic paint and texture, the work reveals subtle depth and movement. The interplay between light and dark areas creates a sense of rhythm, while hints of pink and iridescent tones emerge unexpectedly from beneath the surface, adding warmth and contrast to the cooler palette.
As with much of Ronald Hunter’s work, the painting balances graphic structure with intuitive expression. The composition invites personal interpretation—whether seen as an abstract cityscape, a coastal horizon, or simply an exploration of color and texture. There is no fixed meaning; the viewer is encouraged to discover their own narrative within the layers.
Original acrylic painting on canvas. Signed on the front and back and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Ready to hang.
