Description
Yin Yang presents a character whose face is composed of two nested planes, ivory and ochre. The dark hair and the large light collar draw an assertive silhouette against a terracotta background.
The absence of explicit features leaves the expression open. The presence of the character rests on the asymmetry of the face, the head posture, and the relationships between the colored masses. The muted greens of the clothing and the brown passages balance the warmth of the background.
The title evokes the complementarity of the two parts of the face, each defining the contour of the other. The superimpositions of oil paint, the scrapes and knife marks bring a sensitive texture to this geometric construction.

After the payment has been processed, delivery takes from 7 to 21 days on average, which leaves time for packaging and shipping. This may vary depending on the potential framing of a work and the distance between the Gallery’s location and your home. Whatever happens, we will keep you updated.
Depending on the destination and the size of the work, we use delivery companies such as DHL or UPS, or specialist art delivery companies.
No problem! You have 14 days after delivery of the artwork to notify us. You will be refunded once the artwork is returned to the gallery. In the case of a return after cancellation, you are responsible for packaging the artwork. BelArt Gallery does not cover return shipping costs.
Some products (limited edition, customized artworks etc) are excluded from the return policy.
