Beschrijving
Frame: wood or black (collector’s choice) Work signed lower right – Certificate of authenticity provided
In Bibliothèque Sepia, Sophie Dumont continues her exploration of the book as the architecture of memory. The volumes stand on three levels, arranged in a harmony of warm hues – ochre, pink, brown, blue-grey – which give the whole a depth that is both calm and vibrant. The material, worked in oil with a knife, reveals the relief of the edges and the silent presence of the books. Each colored band becomes a sign, a trace of thought, an echo of accumulated knowledge. Between geometric rigor and pictorial emotion, this work embodies the meditative serenity that characterizes Sophie Dumont’s library series.
Framed in your choice of a black or natural American box, this original work is signed and delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
