Beschrijving
In “Low Tide at Langrune”, Sophie Dumont captures the essence of a seascape in perpetual change. The artist deploys here a subtle palette of blues, grays and ochres, evoking the changing reflections of the sky and water on the wet sand.
The composition is aerial, almost ethereal, where the movement of the clouds merges with the undulating surface of the sea. The expressive touch, worked with a knife, gives the canvas a vibrant texture, recalling the trembling of the wind and the slow retreat of the water on the shore.
This painting plays on the ambiguity between figuration and abstraction: the natural elements are suggested rather than described, leaving room for the viewer’s interpretation. No problem! You have 14 days after delivery of the artwork to notify us. You will be refunded once the artwork is returned to the gallery. In the case of a return after cancellation, you are responsible for packaging the artwork. BelArt Gallery does not cover return shipping costs.
Some products (limited edition, customized artworks etc) are excluded from the return policy.
