Beschrijving
Reflets d’Ailleurs is a profound work where the artist Sophie Dumont expresses an abstract language to evoke an imaginary landscape. This painting is a bold exploration of shapes and colors, where horizontal planes intertwine with a fluidity that creates a remarkable visual dynamic. The blocks of colors – dominated by shades of blue, ochre, and black – coexist in a subtle harmony, while maintaining a certain autonomy, like fragments of distant territories gathered on the same canvas.
The textural treatment of the work adds a tangible depth, each layer of paint contributing to a sense of subtle relief and surface richness. The juxtaposition of bright colours with softer tones introduces a dialogue between natural elements and abstraction, between visible reality and the world of the imagination.
Reflets d’Ailleurs transports the viewer into a world where boundaries are intentionally blurred, where sky and earth merge, inviting a multitude of interpretations. This work is distinguished by its balance between structural rigor and spontaneous freedom, capturing the essence of a reinvented landscape, which oscillates between the known and the unknown. A piece that calls for introspection and the discovery of unexplored horizons.
The choice of frame is offered: black or natural wood
