Description
Labyrinth fills a white canvas with bold black calligraphic strokes. Straight bars, curves and circles fit together like the letters of an invented alphabet, building a dense structure in which the eye keeps searching for a way through, as the title suggests. The contrast of black ink on white gives the work a strong graphic presence, while the traces of the brush keep it lively: a vertical ink on canvas between calligraphy, street art and abstraction.
