Description
“Popeye Express” is an original mixed media art piece which depicts Popeye from pop-culture in a credit-card background, symbolizing wealth and luxurious. He can be seen carrying his iconic Louis Vuitton suitcase as another sign of luxury; credit cards provide the structure behind this design for added innovation and modernity. Popeye symbolizes determination and strength while his clothing also displays elements of fashion at the top and financial strength, providing striking reflections on current expectations and values while the creative use of materials creates a fun yet thought-provoking piece, juxtaposing elements from pop culture alongside symbols of luxury.
