Description
Exclusive to Belart Gallery.
This artwork vividly captures a lush, verdant garden scene, dominated by a striking juxtaposition of textures and colors. The foreground features a bold and dynamic agave plant, its sharp, angular leaves contrasting sharply against the soft, earthy tones of the surrounding soil. A sturdy palm tree trunk rises prominently, its rough bark providing an intriguing textural depth. The vibrant greenery of surrounding foliage, with its varied shapes and hues, adds a tropical richness to the composition. A serene blue pool of water in the lower part of the image introduces an element of tranquility, its smooth surface reflecting the lush landscape above. The harmonious interplay of natural elements and vibrant palette underscores the captivating beauty of a secluded oasis, making this piece both visually engaging and soothing.
It is by immersing herself in nature that she finds the subjects of her works, whose luminous intensity seems to testify to a gaze where wonder remains intact in the face of the spectacle of the world around us. Her attraction to it naturally leads her to gardens, such as Yves Saint Laurent’s Majorelle garden, the sole subject of about twenty works.
