This 2020 oil painting captures a moment of raw emotional urgency. The composition vibrates with an intuitive energy. Bold black lines carve out a fragmented human presence. The figure appears caught between emergence and disappearance. A pale palette is interrupted by sudden flashes of crimson and ochre. These colors evoke a visceral sense of vulnerability. The brushwork is rapid and decisive. It suggests a dialogue between the conscious mind and the subconscious. Layers of pigment overlap to create a textured surface. Gestural markings dance alongside cryptic scribbles. This interplay adds a narrative depth to the abstract form. The artist leverages her extensive academic background to balance chaos with control. Every stroke serves to amplify the internal tension of the scene. The space feels atmospheric and unstable. It invites the viewer to contemplate the nature of anxiety and hidden fears. The artwork concludes with a delicate balance of light and shadow across the canvas.
