Beschrijving
“At the Orée des Champs” is a creation by the artist Sophie Dumont, an abstract landscape vibrant with colors which evokes the beauty of the fields. Worked with a knife and oil, this painting reveals successive layers that intertwine on the canvas, giving a striking depth and texture.
Sophie Dumont, inspired by the landscapes of Normandy, invites us into a world where jagged fields blend harmoniously with a palette of greens, blues and yellows. Through a semi-abstract approach, the artist captures the very essence of these fertile lands, in search of the subtle balance between abstraction and figuration.
Framed in an American natural wood box, this painting can also be framed in a black box on request. The edges of the canvas are carefully painted, providing a refined finish to this artistic creation. Signed lower right, “À l’Orée des Champs” measures 61 x 72 cm framed, it is ready to hang
