Description
Medium: Oil on canvas, palette-knife impasto
A canopy of light drifts across water in shimmering strokes. Puliafico sculpts the scene with decisive palette-knife gestures: malachite and viridian foliage, lilac and aqua reflections, and ivory flecks that turn leaves and ripples into a single living texture. The dark, sinewy trunk anchors the left edge while chromatic fragments dissolve toward the lake, suspending the image between landscape and abstraction. Thick impasto ridges catch ambient light, animating the surface as you move—ideal for contemporary interiors, boutique hospitality and corporate collections seeking a vibrant focal point of modern Italian painting.
